Katherine Ferguson, Director

Katy Ferguson - BOD
Kathryn was born in Newfoundland, raised in Ottawa and is now a proud stay at home mom raising her four children in Bishops Mills.  For several years now Katy has been involved in her children’s school, she is the chair of Holy Cross School Council and serves on the CDSBEO Parent Involvement Committee.  She feels that giving herself and her time is the best way to show her gratitude for all she has been blessed with.
As a teenager, Katy would have benefited greatly from a place as wonderful as the Kemptville Youth Centre.  Our future is our youth and the greatest thing we can do is invest in them.

Debra Simpson enjoyed the privilege of working as a Librarian in the post secondary system for twenty three years.  Once retired, Debra was looking for ways to work with young people in a volunteer capacity and joined the Kemptville Youth Centre Board in 2016.  She brings much enthusiasm to her role as Youth Engagement Liaison in hopes of helping our youth invest in themselves.

Debra currently volunteers at Bayfield Manor Retirement and Nursing Home, and with Fun With Books.  She has lived with her family in the Kemptville area for 30 years and enjoys photography, painting, travelling and glamping in her RV with her husband.
